Sono 28.200 minori sbarcati in Italia nel 2016 di cui il 91%, cioè 25.800, risultavano non accompagnati o comunque separati dai genitori. Si tratta di bambini e adolescenti in fuga da povertà e violenza. Dieci di questi minori sono attesi nel piccolo centro emiliano di San Pietro in Casale dove i cittadini, forse aizzati da forze politiche xenofobe, hanno inscenato una scandalosa protesta con tanto di presidio e turni per impedire l’arrivo di questi minori. Non si sa cosa succederà al loro arrivo, che con ogni probabilità si verificherà solo in settembre, fatto sta che uomini donne, italiani, sono impegnati con cartelli e striscioni ad impedire che il loro piccolo borgo accolga 10 minori.
